Tna-chan (テイナ-ちゃん)
Hello!
Actually I'm not the founder of this website, but thanks to Kaoko-chan for her hard work to build the Japanese Ken Community from zero, from the very beginning.
I am Tna, indeed my real name but I abbreviated it. I usually used to self-proclaimed my name as Tna Uchiha, but due to the copy right issues, I left the 'Uchiha' behind because that only belongs to Kishimoto Masashi, the author of Naruto. But, but, sometimes I use my Japanese name, Miyaharu Natsuko (宮春夏子), for some occasions. How did I get this name? Umm... it's kinda troublesome to explain :P
I am actually not a Japanese person, nor inherited any blood of Japanese. But, my love for Japanese stuff is unquestionable. First time I learned Japanese language when I was 12 years old (too much too old). I studied by myself, reading a guidance book given by my uncle, he once ever went to Japan for work reason (it's make me envious so much!)
I learned how to write kana and memorized some basic vocab like Japanese pronoun and another easy words. But my learning was really based on my mood and unfortunately I suddenly got bored and I completely forgot about Japanese things until I was in the last year of my high school life (16 years old). I joined Japanese Classroom held by my school. I learned from very basic (that time I felt bit upset, because I had known most of basic Japanese). We learned about how to write kana (again). But actually my kana stroke order still a mess, so my sensei told how to make a correct order. The course lasted only 3 months because I had to continue my college life in another city. So I was in long hiatus in learning Japanese for about 3 years because college life was gotten busier and busier.
Until I graduated, so I had much time to catch up my Japanese lag during the hiatus. I learned kanji from the very first start (it's kinda annoying because I forgot about 250 kanji I've ever learned before and had to learn from the very beginning again -__- ). Then, I joined DCW and met Kaoko, who's also fond of Japanese language. Yatta! Finally I found friend who had same interest as me~!
For personal life, I don't know how to mention my occupation because my status is between graduate student and an employee, but I'm not included in those two. I was graduated from my college last year (2010), majoring Industrial Engineering. Now my activities are becoming a freelance private course, freelance translator (for English - Indonesian or the opposite), and freelance writer. I write stories for character lesson in Japanese Ken, I also write a teen novel in Indonesian that hopefully can be published by the end of the year (I'm currently still editing it), and sometimes if I have a good mood, I write a fanfiction (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/2777239/Tna_Uchihaweeblylink_new_window).
In a spare time, I usually spend it for lying around in my room. I'm not really interested to do such mendokusei things like hanging around in a mall or go shopping. I'm not a kind of girl who loves shopping and spending much money for buying some girl accessories. NOOO! I'd rather spend my money to buy food, because I really looooove eating! My most favorite food is soto - it's Indonesian food, I don't know how western people call it), but this is the picture:
